This stop-animation was developed specifically for an LED billboard. It was the first of two stop-animation works (the other being Cowgirl, 2011) to participate in the Billboard Art Project. Desert runs 3 minutes and was shown on an LED billboard on Interstate I95 in Richmond VA, October 2010. (photo by Rachael Gorchov)
